Planning is so crucial to living a well balanced life. At least in my opinion. If you think about stress it typically roots from being unorganized or unprepared. So whether you use your phone calendar and agenda or some other way of planning, I've got some tips that keep me on my "A" game!
Find a Planner that works for you.
Finding a planner that works best for you and your lifestyle is important. You can't plan if you don't have a good system. My planner keeps me organized in a easy fun way.
Use Your Month Overview!
Each new month I take a day where I will sit down and plan my month in an overview. I write down big events happening. For me since I'm in school this is where i'll write upcoming test/quizzes, club meetings, school events...ext.
Color Code
I think color coding can be extremely helpful. Dedicate a certain color for everything in your life. These pens are my favorite to use for all my planning.
Use Stickers
Writing a bunch of words in one color is no one. That is why I love making my planner colorful & using stickers for certain events. I just used the stickers that came in my planner. I find if you mark an important event with a sticker you'll be more prone to remembering or preparing for that event.
PLAN ahead
Look at your week in advance. If you have a test or important meeting on a Thursday make note to start preparing in advance. This way you won't be shocked when that test or important meeting comes up.
Think of it as your " Brain Dump"
Take those 5-10 mins before bed to review your upcoming events and to write down everything you accomplished and want to accomplish for the following day.
