So for those of you who have siblings go give them a hug and remind them how blessed you are to have them in your life! (Even if they are super annoying)
Much Love
XOXO,
Classy Abbie
For those of you who didn't know today happens to be "National Siblings Day". I know most siblings don't always get along, and don't get me wrong my sister and I do have our moments but we are different then most siblings. We have been through things that most families have not been through making us closer, as most of the time we have just had each other to get through these moments and tough times. The thing about my sister I love the most is no matter how tired or how annoyed she may be at me, she is always there when I need her. No matter how late or early, or how big or small or even stupid the situation is, she's always there ready to give me advice and help calm my nerves. From our car jam sessions, to our crazy dance parties, to our late night life talks that I will forever cherish, to our sister sleepovers i'm truly grateful. Even when I feel like I have no one I simply can look back and always seem to have you by my side. Always encouraging me to forget mean people and be me. Not having you by my side next year is going to be extremley hard. Even though you constantly remind me " Abbie i'm not dying, i'm just going to college", I will still miss seeing you everyday and having you footsteps away. Can't wait to continue sharing laughs, memories, and many good times with my best friend as we grow older. I can't thank God enough how blessed I was with a sister like you!
So for those of you who have siblings go give them a hug and remind them how blessed you are to have them in your life! (Even if they are super annoying) Much Love XOXO, Classy Abbie

It's that time of the year where you start to realize summer is quickly approaching, which in most places means the school year is coming to an end. Today I am sharing some of my favorite things to bring with me whenever I travel!!!
1. Portable Speaker, and Charger I know when I travel I am always using up my phone battery either taking pictures or looking up certain locations, this is why I almost always keep a back up charger in my purse. I also always like to keep a speaker with me at all times cause you never know when your going to want to have a jam party! 2. Water Bottle I find it so important to stay hydrated now a days it's not even funny. As I have gotten older I have noticed I make drinking more water a bigger priority than when I was little. So as you could tell bringing a water bottle that I can refill during my trip is always helpful!!! 3. Beach Spray On vacation yes I want to look good, but after all vacation is supposed to be relaxing. This is why I always bring some type of a spray that I can add to my natural hair for those natural beach waves, that every vacation needs. 4. Sunnies Sunnies aka sunglasses are my absolute necessity. What I love about sunglasses is you can add some to any look and they instantly change it. 5. A Good Book I know when I am on vacation most times I spend a lot of time getting inspired or reflecting, with doing this I love taking a little time each day before I go to sleep to dive into a good book! 6. Cute Hats For those days you don't feel like doing your hair. A cute hat comes in handy!!! 7.Eye Mask Recently I have not been able to sleep endless something is covering my eyes. Eye masks are perfect for this, and I can't sleep without one nowadays. 8. Travel Journal I know I am not the best at journaling but I honestly try really hard too especially when I travel. Something cute to do if you own a polaroid camera is to take a picture daily and stick it in with each days journal. It is super fun to look back at later trust me!!! 9. Sweatshirt/Blanket I can't tell you how many times I have traveled somewhere and forgot some type of sweatshirt or jacket. Most of those places have been cold, leading me to head to the nearest gift shop to buy one. 10. Camera I know most of us all have a camera on our phones, but I always find it fun to bring my polaroid camera and a regular one incase I want higher quality pics!!! XOXO, Classy Abbie I know at the airport all I want to be is comfy, while still looking fab. Here are three looks for your spring break travels! Black Jeans "Based On A True Story" Sweatshirt New Balance Sneakers Black Cross Body (sold out) LOOK ALIKE Marble Phone Case Black and Gold Sunglasses Green Bomber Jacket Black and White Striped Shirt (sold out) LOOK ALIKE Blue Faded Jeans Black Backpack Adidas Sneakers (sold out) LOOK ALIKE Adidas Leggings LA T-shirt Heart Duffle Bag "Eat Cake For Breakfast" Phone Case Black and White Roshes If you purchase any of these looks post a picture on Instagram tagging @classyabbie! :)XOXO,
Classy Abbie This past week was not one of my favorite weeks. Having to had finish a six page report on the Civil War, did i mention we weren't aloud to use the internet. From that i have grown a sense of gratefulness for the internet, whoever created it is a genious in my mind. On top of this the typical school stuff such as homework, and tests filled my week. One thing i love about my family is that i can always count on them for a good laugh which helped me a lot this week. After Thursday when i turned in my paper it definitely called for a jam party, and some ice cream! Friday was absolutely one of my favorite days as I met so many new friends while hanging out with old friends at my school lacrosse game. When Saturday came I was definitely pumped for some fun time catching up with my fav hair stylist Kaci, which if you haven't seen the interview with Kaci you can find it below! Then cupcakes and hot chocolate with the classy sissy. Ending my Sunday with fam brunch, and a "get stuff done" kind of day.
One thing i learned this week is there are going to be challenging moments in your life, but to make the best of them and to always take time for some fun! Always remember to reward yourself when you have accomplished something such as a six page paper! XOXO, Classy Abbie Tonight I am extremely grateful for life itself. Every day being able to wake up is truly a blessing, that I most often take for granted. The most important thing to remember is that each breath we take is worth more than we could imagine. It's more important than that purse we may have wanted or where we want to eat. Sometimes we get so caught up on the less important things found in life, instead of life itself. So go talk to that one person you may not know in your class or at work, go to that party your friends having, go take your dog for a walk, spend time with your siblings or parents, go get ice cream instead of working out, but most importantly realize how blessed you are. Take every opportunity that comes your way for you don't know when your last day, hour, or breath will be. Now I highly recommend watching this video. It has inspired me in so many ways, and hope it will do the same for you! It is a little on the long side but totally worth it!!!! xoxo,
Classy Abbie If you follow me on Instagram @classyabbie you know this past December I went to NYC for the holidays. Let me just tell you being a city girl I was definitely in my natural habitat! I for sure miss spending my mornings drinking tea at The Plaza, shopping in SOHO, and drinking sugary drinks the size of my head. With New York Fashion Week currently taking place I decided to share some of my pics, while wishing I was back in the dream city!
Most of us all hold special dreams in our hearts. Some are bigger than others. For me since I was in Second Grade I always remember wanting to do something fun for those who were sick particularly for those who had the terrible word "Cancer". I knew a little girl named Julia who touched my heart at a very young age as she battled with cancer but seemed to make everyday a fun day, and always had a smile on her face. She may be in Heaven now but her story continues to inspire me everyday. My dream was to hold a fashion show, in hopes to give the girls battling this terrible disease a chance to have fun and feel beautiful. I was given the opportunity to apply for the North Carolina Association for the Gifted and Talented scholarship. I would have known none of this without this special teacher, one who inspires and has taught me to keep reaching for your dreams no matter how big or small. Who helped me with this whole process, in which I can't thank enough. I can't wait to start planning this special event and to share my journey with you! Even though I still have a lot to do and more money to raise, I can't wait to make some little girls day! I will never forget the feeling I had opening that envelope, the smile and tears of joy filled my body with love and appreciation. I hope whomever reading this post is inspired to take every opportunity for you do not know where it may lead you! :)

Hope your weekend is filled with laughter! XOXO, Classy Abbie I am so excited for this year! For this years resolutions I tried to think of things that I really want to improve on, and knew that I could accomplish over the year.
Of course going to the gym daily is always one, but realistically that doesn't work with my schedule so instead I opted for being healthier. I'm not the healthiest eater, but what I have learned is to eat what you love but be reasonable about it. Meaning as much as I'd love to eat a whole pizza ( I still do sometimes) limit yourself to just eating enough to fill you instead of eating too much to over fill you. I'm no health expert but that's just one thing I am going to try and work on in the New Year! Another New Year resolution for me is to think less, and have more fun! I feel sometimes I over think things or get so worked up over something that I don't enjoy it. I know I have talked about this before in my "worry train" post but I still could use some work at this in the New Year! My third resolution for 2016 is to take more pictures! I know I kind of already do this but sometimes I forget . I want to enjoy the moments but also remember to take pictures because they make awesome memories to look back on! Fourth is defiantly to blog more I know with school and cheer I don't always have time but it is my goal to have a more set blogging schedule, and to make my posts better quality! Lastly is to journal more. You may have heard about journaling in my 'Ways to Stay Zen" post but I would personally like to take more time to do this in 2016!!! I hope your start to 2016 has been filled with class, and fun!!! XOXO, Classy Abbie Having a blog has also given me the opportunity to share my thoughts and opinions, and that is what I am just going to be doing today! In doing this I hope I can help someone going through the same thing!
During the duration of these past couple of weeks i have had to step up and finally realize anyone bringing you down, or constantly making you feel like you are a "nobody" or not even a human, are not healthy for you. I noticed this affecting me personally, almost every day. I would cry multiple times a day thinking something was wrong with me or that no one liked me. When this continued on for more than a week and I started losing my appetite over this, I realized there are several people who love and support me, and that I am worth so much more than a couple of girls or just one girl trying to bring me down. The most important thing to know during any situation is that YOU do matter, and to not let one person define who you are, or take away your happiness. Our lives are gifts and for me I know each day is a blessing. Personally I would rather spend my days doing what I know best, which is to laugh, be silly, help others whenever I can, and to follow my dreams, rather then wasting my days crying or constantly feeling down, because let's be real that's not Classy Abbie. I have chosen to rise above the hatred and "mean girl" antics and follow my faith. My parents have taught me to not react to others hate with more hatred; therefore, moving on to be with those who love me and bring joy to my life:) After crying for weeks now I am excited to slowly but surly get back to being me and who I am. Which means more blogging! Much love, XOXO, Classy Abbie Sending lots of love during this special time of year!

Classy Abbie #BLOGMAS What is happiness to you? What makes you happy? When are you the most happiest?
It is important we know and remember as hard as it can be sometimes that happiness is not something we can buy such as getting certain items. Happiness is something we truly have to choose. Every day we choose this trait. We may not always choose it, but it's important we don't take it away from others. I think this is important to remember especially during the holidays. Take some time today to think about how happy you were last year. Then write one Christmas present you got last year. Then write how happy you are now. This just goes to show that items truly don't make us happy, it's the people we surround ourselves with, the things we do daily, and the family who supports us. One of my teachers had me do this exercise and it really made me realize what happiness really is. XOXO, Classy Abbie #BLOGMAS Today I am sharing my favorite flats, that are perfect for winter time! I wear these just about everyday, if I just want something simple, and comfy! Did I mention they go with anything! Here are just a few of my favorites, click link to see more!!!:) Link to all flats XOXO,
Classy Abbie #BLOGMAS With the stress of work, school, or any daily tasks it's important we stay zen and don't push ourselves too hard to where we get in a funk that most of the time are hard to get out of! I set aside at least ten minutes daily to do one of the follow. Trust me within a week you will see improvements on your mood, attitude and look on life. 1. Meditative coloring I'm sure you have seen these around in craft stores or have heard about them. Let me just say I was a little hesitant at first but it truly does calm me. 2. Journaling I do realize journaling is not for everyone, but for those of you who enjoy writing this is definitely for you! My favorite part is being able to reflect on my journal at the end of each week! Here are some of my favorite little journals! The five minute journal asks certain questions each day, so if you like a more directed type of journal I defiantly recommend getting this type of journal! 3. Listening to music Sometimes we need to let loose and have some fun! Jam parties are my favorite way to just have fun dance around and let loose of all my daily tasks for just ten minutes of my day! Trust me this will easily improve your mood! I recommend Spotify as there are lots of fun playlists for any mood you may be in! 4. Meditating/ Yoga I have just recently gotten into meditation. Let me just say it is hard to put off all other distractions and to just listen to your body. At the same time I find it very peaceful, and calming. I use this app called "Headspace", if you need a more guided way to meditate ( me lol)! Another thing I enjoy doing is yoga! Now a days you don't even need to go to a class, there are so many videos and other ways to learn it just on the internet! HEADSPACE LINK 5. Reading Reading an inspirational book always seems to help me when I'm in a funk or just want to relax! Here is my favorite! Xoxo,
